Gorman to continue hockey career at St. Ben’s

Red Wing senior Annie Gorman plans to play for the St. Benedict women’s hockey team next season, according to her mom Pam.

Gorman, a forward, scored the game-winning goal in the Section 1A championship game Friday against Northfield. It was her fifth goal of the season. She also has tallied eight assists during the 2010-11 campaign.

St. Ben’s is 5-12-3 overall and 4-8-3 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this season.

Way to go Annie and congrats to a terrific Senior Season. Your enthusiasm and love for the game has made it a joy to watch the Wingers this year. Young wingers can learn alot about how you approach the game and handle adversity. Good luck at St Bens!
